Improved GPS Tracking with A-GPS Support

In the latest firmware update for Atmotube PRO 2 (3.1.0), we added support for A-GPS (Assisted GPS).

This significantly improves the overall GPS experience:

  • faster satellite acquisition,

  • more stable GPS operation,

  • improved coordinate accuracy,

  • fewer lost GPS fixes,

  • better performance indoors, near buildings, or in difficult signal conditions.

How A-GPS works in Atmotube PRO 2

A-GPS files are updated automatically approximately once per week when:

  • the Atmotube PRO 2 is connected to the mobile app,

  • the phone has internet access,

  • and GPS is enabled on the device.

No manual action is required.

Requirements

To use AGNSS improvements:

  • update your device to firmware 3.1.0 or newer

  • keep the Atmotube connected to the app periodically with internet access

  • use the latest app version

This update greatly improves the overall coordinate tracking experience during daily movement, commuting, cycling, or outdoor activities.
